Percona Server for MongoDB 5.0 Release Notes

Important

Past release limitations

Support of Percona Server for MongoDB 5.0 is already end-of-life. We continue to provide services for it under the conditions of our Percona Services Lifecycle Policy. However, we no longer provide bug fixes, new builds or new packages for this version. We recommend you to upgrade to the newer major version if you encounter issues.

Issue Affected versions
SERVER-96419 Fixes the security vulnerability CVE-2024-10921. This vulnerability allowed an authorized user to trigger server crashes or receive the contents of the buffer over-reads of the server memory by sending specially crafted requests that constructed malformed BSON in MongoDB. 5.0.5-4 - 5.0.29-25
