Percona Server for MongoDB 7.0.12-7 includes the improvements and bug fixes of MongoDB 7.0.12 Community Edition and supports its protocols and drivers.
Release Highlights¶
This release of Percona Server for MongoDB includes the enhanced telemetry feature and provides comprehensive information about how telemetry works, its components and metrics as well as updated methods how to disable telemetry. Read more in Telemetry on Percona Server for MongoDB
Improvements and bug fixes, provided by MongoDB and included in Percona Server for MongoDB are the following:
- SERVER-64574 - Upgraded the MozJS/SpiderMonkey engine that MongoDB uses to execute server-side JavaScript code within the database server to the latest ESR (Extended Support Release)
- SERVER-86674 - Made sure an old heartbeat that is being processed when primary catchup starts does not cause the primary catchup to think it’s already caught up
- SERVER-90485 - Fixed the sorting of results produced by the
$unwind
aggregation with the array index field specified - WT-12736 - Marked the page clean in WiredTiger after re-instantiating the page with prepared updates to avoid reconciling the page every time
