We've released Percona XtraBackup 9.7.1-rc1.
Percona XtraBackup 9.7.1-rc1 is a Release Candidate based on the MySQL 9.7 Long-Term Supported (LTS) release. Interfaces and behavior are subject to change before the General Availability (GA) release. This release introduces InnoDB B-tree index validation during the prepare phase and backup size reporting for successful backups. These enhancements help detect potential corruption before restore, improve backup verification, and simplify storage capacity planning.

Percona Backup for MongoDB
We've released Percona Backup for MongoDB (PBM) 2.15.0.
This release introduces Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Object Storage support as a remote backup destination through a dedicated OCI-native driver, enabling seamless backup and restore operations in OCI environments. PBM also supports multiple OCI authentication methods, including Workload Identity authentication, allowing secure access to OCI resources without API signing keys and reducing operational overhead.
