Percona Server for MySQL feature - UUID_VX component

Percona Server for MySQL 8.0.39-30 adds the UUID_VX component. The component contains a functions to work with the different versions of the Universally Unique Identifier (UUID). These functions include the ability to:

  • Manage any UUID version.

  • Generate UUIDs for specific versions.

  • Create time-based UUIDs, specifically versions 1, 6, and 7.

This component adds flexibility and enhanced support for UUID-based operations.
